<p>The aim is to provide solutions to the problems of interrupted navigation on the Oubangui and consequently on the Congo, during the period</p>
<p>and the supply of electricity electricity to the CAR, North Congo and the DRC, through the construction of a dam to regulate the flow of the the Oubangui river and generate at the Palambo site, around about 60 km upstream of Bangui. The characteristics of the scenario selected of the solutions proposed by SOGREAH in 1990 were as follows</p>
<p>: - Normal reservoir level: 361 m Dam height (approx.): 18 m Surface area: 606x106 m&sup2; - Length (approx.): 1,200 m - Minimum downstream flow to be reached at Zinga (70 km downstream of downstream of Bangui): 920 m3/s - Storage volume storage volume: 2,370 million m3 Power: 30 MW - Number of generating units. Number of generating units: 4 bulbous (unit flow rate: 94 m3/s) The plan is to carry out studies of : APS APD DAO.</p>
