<p>The governments of Kenya and Uganda and Rwanda have committed to the development of a standard gauge railway that links the landlocked countries of Rwanda and Uganda with Mombasa port in Kenya. This project entails the section from the Malaba border post (between Kenya and Uganda) to the Ugandan capital Kampala.</p>
