Construction of 101 km / 330 kV Hwange to Victoria Falls and construction of the 14km Victoria Falls to Livingstone cross-border link of section of the ZiZaBoNa transmission interconnector, i.e. Zimbabwe-Zambia-Botswana-Namibia. Description

<p>ZiZaBoNa creates a new Western Transmission Corridor in Southern Africa, by linking the power systems of Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana and Namibia. This part of the project is the first phase of the bigger ZiZaBoNa project and involves the construction of a 101 km / 330 kV transmission interconnector from Hwange Power Station to Victoria Falls Substation in Zimbabwe and construction of the 14km Victoria Falls to Livingstone cross-border link with a transmission capacity of 300 MW.</p>
