<p>The implementation of this project includes the following actions:</p>

<li>Modernization of the line in Morocco (Fes-Oujda)</li>
<li>Rehabilitation of the section between Morocco and Algeria (Transboundary section Morocco-Algeria, Oujda-Akid Abbas)</li>
<li>Creation of a new transboundary railway section between Algeria and Tunisia (connecting Annaba to Jendouba)</li>
<li>Modernization between Jendouba and Jedeida</li>
<li>Various technological interventions for the energy, control-command, and signaling subsystems.</li>
</ul>
Description
<p>This Casablanca-Algiers-Tunis railway link covers a total of 2,350 km. Significant economic benefits derived from the project study include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Reduction in travel time for the entire population, and particularly for economic operators in all sectors of activity.</li>
<li>Reduction in transport costs.</li>
<li>Reduction in road maintenance costs.</li>
<li>Reduction in road accidents.</li>
<li>Reduction in pollutant emissions.</li>
</ul>
<p>This project involves the following actions:</p>

Le développement et la mise en œuvre des centres logistiques transfrontaliers est l`un des points clés pour cet objectif et pour promouvoir et accélérer l`intégration économique régionale. </p>

The management of the North-Western Sahara Aquifer System (NWSAS) / Systeme Aquifere du Sahara Septentrional (SASS), a large aquifer shared by Algeria, Libya, and Tunisia.
Description
<p>The NWAS is one of the major North African transboundary groundwater basins shared by three North African countries (i.e. i.e. Algeria, Libya, and Tunisia) which covers an area of more than one million square kilometres. The NWSAS can be categorised as a multi-layered system of aquifers which embodies a huge stock of non-renewable groundwater. </p>
