Summary
<p>The Project consists of interventions on water infrastructure development interventions to ensure adequate supply of potable water to communities of in Antanambao Manampotsy Area, but also seeks to implement water resources management interventions to increase climate resilience of the water resources systems in the area. On water infrastructure development, the project components consist of:</p>
<p>(1) Feasibility Studies; </p>
<p>(2) Designs and Construction Works. The integrated water resources management interventions consist of the following components:</p>
<p>(a) increased awareness and understanding of the river the basin issues;</p>
<p>(b) studies on the climate change vulnerability assessment;</p>
<p>(c) development of institutional, policy and regulatory frameworks; </p>
<p>(d) an Action Plan for Integrated Water Resources Management.</p>
